ART DIRECTOR - DESIGNER - IMAGE MAKER
Joanna graduated from Swinburne University - The National School of Design, Melbourne, Australia in 1999 with an honors degree in Graphic Design (Communication Design) - She has gained over 10 years of experience in Art Direction, Brand Strategy and Design for Print, Web, Branding - Visual Identity and Naming, Illustration, Motion Graphics and Experiential Design.
Joanna has worked on a wide variety of diverse and exciting projects throughout the world, including Australia, Europe, and the USA. Among her clients you will find global brands such as L'Oreal, Ikea, Gap, M&M's, Hyatt, Monsoon UK, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Aldo shoes, Patagonia, award winning International Theater companies in Europe, and institutions like the American Folk Art Museum, The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Museum of Victoria, The Melbourne Planetarium and the SVA - School of Visual Arts in NYC, including developing new concepts for brands not yet launched into the market place.
Currently based in Melbourne, Australia, Joanna is a self employed Designer and Art Director. She works independently and collaboratively. She has recently re-entered the local market of Melbourne, while maintaining a strong client base overseas, primarily in New York, California and Barcelona.
When she's not art directing or designing, she's teaching design and lecturing at Swinburne University.
